| Step 11 Shape a small piece of your chosen background color to fit into the space between the lobes of the heart. I used translucent clay as the background for this cane. |

| Step 12 Wrap a sheet of the background color around the cane. |

| Step 13 Fill in the background with shaped pieces of clay to bring the cane to a round shape. |

| Step 14 Wrap with a sheet of the background color to complete the cane. |
